Angel previously shared how the death of her first boyfriend in 2019 caused her to become depressed at one point in her life.
The death, she said, had a negative impact on her mental health, and she began self-harming as a result.
Angel told Yousef that she lied to the organizers when she said she had stopped self-harming seven years ago.
“Because of the type of family I come from, I was battling with depression and had no one to talk to. Instead, I began self-harming, which I stopped last year.
“I am surprised that I am here because you are aware of the entire procedure and that we were required to talk with a psychologist. Maybe it's because I lied when she asked when I stopped self-harming; I strongly stated that I stopped 7 years ago and that I have moved on mentally and that I don't see myself doing it again; this is true, but I only stopped last year.
“I know I wouldn't be here if I hadn't lied,” she admitted.
She also stated that after the show, she will launch a mental health support program for young girls.
