Micheal Usifo Ataga, the murdered CEO of Super TV, was laid to rest at the Ebony Vaults garden in Ikoyi, Lagos, earlier yesterday.
This came after a service of songs in his honor was performed in Lagos' Victoria Island on Thursday.
The funeral of the slain media professional was attended by friends and close family members.
Usifo's death drew international attention after his body was discovered in a serviced apartment in Lagos State's Lekki area.
He was allegedly murdered by Chidinma Ojukwu, a University of Lagos, UNILAG, 300-Level Mass Communication student with whom the CEO was said to be in a romantic relationship.
Chidinma, who was apprehended days after the murder, told journalists that she stabbed Usifo in the neck in the apartment where his body was located.

The suspect is still in police custody, and more suspects have been arrested but their identities have not been revealed.
Usifo is survived by his wife, Brenda Ataga; two daughter, Eboselulu; mother, Sylvia Ataga; and Emoata and other family members.
