An elderly man was caught raping a goat to death, but the goat's owner intervened too late.
On Tuesday, July 27, about 1.30pm in Malaysia, the goat owner noticed her pet making strange noises and went to investigate.
When the 45-year-old woman got to the goat, she discovered a half-naked man back away from the animal before fleeing.
The goat died as a result of its injuries following the heinous assault in Kampung Sungai Buaya, near the capital of Kuala Lumpar.
Fortunately, the woman recognized the rapist and reported him to the Serendah police station at 6.24 p.m. that same evening.
Arsad Kamaruddin, Hulu Selangor police chief stated that a 60-year-old man had been arrested for killing the goat.
A manhunt for the suspect ended when Officers tracked the suspect to a hiding spot among the hedge-growth after a manhunt for.
"The suspect was spotted in the bushes and apprehended in Jalan Tengah, Kg Sg Buaya, about 10.50am today (July 28)," said Arsad Kamaruddin.
He would be taken to the sessions court in Kuala Kubu Baru for a remand application under Sections 377 and 289 of the Penal Code, he said.
"A forensic unit as well as a team from the Kuala Kubu Baru Veterinary Department were dispatched to the area to undertake an investigation," a source said.
"The goat's body was taken to the department's laboratory for analysis and autopsy."
