Amenze Rita, a 31-year-old Nigerian woman, was allegedly shot dead in Italy by her husband.
On Friday morning, September 10, in Noventa Vicentina, Amenze was slain in front of her colleagues in the parking lot of Mf Mushroom, a company where she worked.
The suspect, Pierangelo Pellizzar, 61, allegedly set up an ambush for the lady at 7:30 a.m. and shot her four times, killing her instantly.
After killing Amenze, he allegedly fled the scene in a grey Jeep Cherokee, which was later discovered abandoned at his brother's residence.
The carabinieri are currently on the lookout for the culprit, who is claimed to be armed and dangerous.
According to Italian media, Amenze was reportedly killed because she filed for divorce after returning from Nigeria a week ago.
It was also learned that late Amenze arrived in Italy through Libya in 2017 and married an Italian man in 2018.
