Lateef Adedimeji of Nollywood won best actor in a film for the Tunde Kelani film 'Ayinla,' beating out prominent Hollywood actors like Hakeem Kazim, Eddie Watson, and others.
Lateef Adedimeji shared the news on Instagram, saying that the accomplishment has left him dumbfounded and that it serves as a reminder to never give up hope.
Lateef Adedimeji encouraged his lovers and followers to be inspired by the traditional proverb, "The rain will wipe away tears, and the sun will kiss an individual's endeavor,"
The actor thanked famous actor Tunde Kelani, as well as the cast and crew that collaborated with him on the film.
