Nigerians are angry with several Yoruba Nollywood stars after they used social media to announce the death of Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe.
Even though there had been death rumors before to his death, the veteran actor died an untimely demise after a long battle for his life.
According to reports, he was flown out for additional medical care after being admitted to Lagos Teaching Hospital with the support of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) and the Federal Ministry of Health.
Remember that on November 22nd, the comic actor and producer who ruled the Yoruba film industry for decades died after a protracted battle with an unknown illness.
Some of his colleagues wished him well and hoped for his recovery while he was unwell. They threw him a surprise birthday celebration, even though it wasn't announced on social media, and some may have expressed severe concern.
Nigerians, on the other hand, have blasted Yoruba celebs like Murphy Afolabi, Odunlade Adekola, and others for posting tributes to the late actor on their social media sites. Even yet, they were unable to contact him while he was still alive.
