Comedienne Damilola Adekoya aka Princess has rained curses on actors Yomi Fabiyi, Iya Rainbow, former Lagos state commissioner of Police Hakeem Odumosu, and many others after the Lagos State Special Offences Court on Thursday, July 14, sentenced Baba Ijesha to 16 years imprisonment for sexually assaulting her daughter.
Baba Ijesha was detained in April 2021 after Princess accused him of defiling her foster daughter. The case was then brought before a judge. He was accused of sexual assault, attempted sexual assault by penetration, sexual assault by penetration, and indecent treatment of a child. While the prosecution was unable to establish counts one and six, which were sexual assault by penetration and attempted sexual assault by penetration, the presiding judge on Thursday ruled him guilty of counts 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Princess criticized and cursed those who had attacked her when she made the claims public on her Instagram page after the verdict. She cursed Yomi Fabiyi and Iya Rainbow, accusing them of being two-faced throughout the entire ordeal. Hakeem Odumosu, the former Lagos state commissioner of police, was also cursed by the woman for allegedly threatening her and humiliating her foster child.
She wept profusely as she laid the curses.
