Legendary singer, Paul Okoye, of the P-Square group, has been sued by his estranged wife Anita for cheating on her while they were married.
In 2021, the news about the sudden split between Paul Okoye and his estranged wife, Anita, broke out with the latter reportedly citing unfaithfulness on the part of her husband, and lack of care for their kids as some of the reasons for the breakup.
Photos of court paperwork that revealed Anita had filed a case against Paul Okoye at an Abuja high court went viral on Friday. She also revealed several chats with the singer and other women.
Anita additionally said that the singer was having an affair with Florence, one of their housemaids.
In the records that were leaked, it was claimed that Paul Okoye sent his estranged wife and her sister packing when they learned of his affair with the housemaid.
The musician allegedly boasted about it and said that it was a way to cut his wife's wings so she would have no one else to depend on.
Anita further said that Paul Okoye didn't care much about raising his children and barely participated in training them.
She added that he backed out of an undertaking by failing to give her brand, TannkCo, a space in the mall to which she contributed N10m for the purchase of the land and the building of the mall.
She listed these as the reasons for her case.
They were together for nearly ten years before getting married in 2014, and they have three kids.
