Following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's recent inauguration, Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has sent an open letter to him. The letter from Kolawole Ajeyemi's wife explained why she continued to support Tinubu despite enduring harsh criticism and reaction.
Toyin highlighted that Tinubu's record as a senator and governor, rather than his ancestry or religion, is what determines her choice of leader. She thinks that his previous successes show that he has the potential to do even better in the position of President.
Toyin admitted that it is hard to win over everyone's support, but that Tinubu's victory implies that he is the preferred candidate by the majority. She clarified that her support is entirely voluntary and voiced her disgust with the untrue claim that she was compensated monetarily to support him.
Toyin asked President Tinubu to carefully listen to the concerns of the people, address their worries about the future, and restore hope among residents as a concerned citizen and mother. The open letter is a sincere request to the President to give the needs and ambitions of the Nigerian people first priority.
