Over 100 LGBT suspects have been detained by the Delta State Police Command for holding a gay wedding ceremony in a state hotel.
On Tuesday, August 29, 2023, DSP Bright Edafe, the command's spokesperson, paraded the suspects in front of the police department's Asaba headquarters.
“Delta State Command has arrested over a hundred gay suspects in a hotel carrying out a gay wedding ceremony," the PPRO stated.
