According to a Nigerian woman claiming to be the mother of the late musician Mohbad, also known as Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, her son was kil''led and did not pass away by accident or natural causes.
The agonized mother made a video to reveal that she was still alive and could not come out to speak as she was mourning her son.
Given his numerous issues with his record label, she claimed she did not think he di#ed from an ear infection.
Speaking in her local tongue, she cursed everyone responsible for her son's premature death and pleaded for justice.
Says she:
"My son was kil:led; he did not pass away naturally. Whoever kil''led my son will have difficulty in their home. Both curses and war will befall them.
The glory of the child in their home will diminish because of those who kil:led him and their sons.”
I'm not dea'd—I'm alive. My son didn't get any sleep, and I wasn't given the opportunity to defend myself when he was wrongly accused.
I asked my son what happened, and he gave me money to go to the hospital.”
When I contacted him from the hospital, he said, "Mom, there's a problem." I called him to come home and tell me what happened.”
I am his life and heaven. He said he came home because he heard something had happened.”
He said he was taken and given water, and then he didn’t know what happened to him anymore. Since then, I’ve been on the matter.”
Since then, I’ve been on it. He died in fear. The fear was too much. If he was supposed to go to some shows, he couldn’t go because of the fear that some people were coming.”
He was beaten every day, and I was receiving calls even from people I didn’t know. I didn’t rest until he was kil"led.”
