"I Had S3x With Her Two Times" — Wendy Achumba's Suspected K!ller Confesses On Camera

New and chilling details have emerged in the murder of nursing student Wendy Achumba, and the information coming to light is as heartbreaking as it is horrifying.

Following widespread outrage over her death, members of the local community refused to wait for a slow investigation. Under the leadership of youth leader Chidiebere Iweajunwa, they conducted their own inquiry into the incident, and it led to an arrest.

The suspect, identified as Onyema Okonkwo, was apprehended by community members and subsequently handed over to the police. But what has sent shockwaves across social media is what happened before that handover: a video interview in which Okonkwo allegedly confessed to his role in Wendy's rape and murder. The clip went viral almost immediately.

In the video, Okonkwo claimed that he and an accomplice named Emmanuel went to Wendy's residence at around 7 p.m. on the night of the attack. According to him, the two men had made advances toward her, which she firmly rejected.

He alleged that both men r@ped her and then, in the most cold-blooded detail of his account, described what came next.

"We wanted her to give us s3x, but she refused. We went to her house around 7 p.m. I had s3x with her two times; Emmanuel had once. After that, I hit her with a stick. I didn't know Emmanuel returned with a knife to k!ll her," he claimed.

What makes the tragedy even more devastating is how vulnerable Wendy was at that moment. The two other students who shared her off-campus residence had both travelled for their nursing practicals, leaving her entirely alone in the compound that evening.

"She was the only one in the house. The owner of the house is based in America. There were three students occupying the house. But two went for their nursing experience, leaving only her in the compound," a community source revealed.

She had no one there to help her. No one to hear her. And the people who should have protected her chose instead to destroy her.

Okonkwo has since been handed over to the Imo State Police Command for further investigation. His alleged accomplice, Emmanuel, is yet to be arrested at the time of this report. The police spokesperson, DSP Henry Okoye, had not issued any new official statement as of the time of filing.

Wendy Achumba was almost done with her nursing programme. She had chosen a career built on saving lives. She deserved every chance to live hers.
