In the midst of continuing marital dispute, well-known broadcaster Frank Edoho has disclosed that one of his greatest concerns in life is passing away from heartache or emotional suffering brought on by a woman.
The former host of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire made the statement during an episode of the Outside The Box podcast, coming just days after his estranged wife, Sandra, publicly accused him of infidelity, emotional abuse, and financial recklessness.
Speaking during the podcast, he said:
“I don’t want to go to the gates of heaven and have them ask me what killed me, and they say it was a woman. Whether that woman is my daughter, my wife, or my mother, I don’t want that. I don’t want that to be my way out of this portal.
I want to die with a smile on my face, saying that all the people I met, I tried to put a smile on their faces, and also to have the regret that I wish I did more good, not that I wish I had more time.”
He talked a lot on male fragility and the emotional challenges many men face in silence, even if he did not specifically address the current marital scandal.
He went on to say that rather than being emotionally damaged, he wants to leave the world happy and known for bringing joy.
The broadcaster also disclosed that he previously struggled with a serious personal issue for two years without alerting anyone, depending only on himself to get well.
Frank Edoho went on to say that his work in broadcasting taught him how to hide suffering behind a smile, but he acknowledged that he finds it difficult to turn off his own feelings when he's not in front of the microphone.
