Racheal Oniga's Death: Following the death of veteran Nollywood actress Racheal Oniga, condolences have continued to stream in.

The revered movie veteran, who has featured in hundreds of films, died on Friday.

According to reports, the actress died as a result of Covid-19 complication.

But here are 13 facts about the fascinating actress that you probably don't know:

Rachael is from Eku, Delta State, in the south of Nigeria.

She was born in Ebute Metta, Lagos State, on May 23, 1957.

Rachael attended Abule-Oja Primary School in Lagos and went to Edo State for her secondary school.

The actress began her acting career shortly after her divorce in 1993.

Her ambition as a child was to be a singer and dancer.

Before entering the film industry, she worked for a short time at Ascoline Nigeria Limited, a Dutch consulting firm.

She made her Nollywood debut in the film "Onome" and began pulling the strings after acting in her first Yoruba film, "Owo Blow."

Rachael once admitted in an interview that her children had to pay the price for her failed marriage because her firstborn, Olamide, was just four years old when she got divorced.

Oniga has been in a number of notable Nigerian films, including Sango, a film written by Wale Ogunyemi and directed by Obafemi Lasode, as well as Wale Adenuga's television series Super story.

Racheal Oniga rose to notoriety thanks to her involvement in Wale Adenuga's TV series "Super Story."
