WhatsApp Will Stop Working On These Phones From November [See]

Starting November 1, WhatsApp will stop working on some mobile phones around the world.
The social media messaging app is expected to stop working on some smartphones because the platform's owners will no longer provide support for the operating system on such old models.
Unless owners of iPhones and Android Android phones change their device software, some iPhones and Android phones will be locked out of WhatsApp permanently.
The UK Sun published a piece last week that speculated on why tech companies are discontinuing support for outdated devices.
"Sometimes it's because it's simply not cost-effective to maintain apps operating on very old versions of iOS or Android," the research says. That’s especially the case if only a small percentage of users are running these old versions of software.”

According to the British newspaper, WhatsApp will no longer work on phones running very old versions of iOS or Android starting November 1, 2021.
