The Met Gala or Met Ball, which was formally called the Costume Institute Gala, is an annual fundraising gala held for the benefit of the Museum of Arts.
The Met Gala is fashion’s big night out and only the top power players in all industries are invited.
The subject of this year's Met Gala was "In Honor of Karl," in memory of the late Karl Lagerfeld, designer of Chanel.
Top celebs attended the event as anticipated, gracing the red carpet with their adorable appearance. Everyone brought their A-games, including Rihanna and ASAP Rocky, Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Lopez, Naomi Campbell, Cardi B, and more.
Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, and Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, two award-winning singers, gave Nigerians reason to be proud of them as they made their debut.
The Afrobeats celebrities dazzled the red carpet with their entrancing attire.
The occasion was graced by Burna Boy, who wore a matched black and blue costume with subtle checkered patterns as well as a substantial extension of the same material flowing behind him.
Tems, on the other hand, donned a Custom Rober Wun dress with elbow-length gloves, a corset-like black top, and a flowing white ending at the bottom.
Tems was styled by Dunsun Wright; and unlike her Oscar outfit, Tems didn’t block anyone’s view.
