The public and media outlets have been urged by the family of the late Oyo schoolteacher Michael Oyedokun to refrain from disseminating explicit images and videos associated with his untimely demise.
According to reports, bandits assaulted schools in the Aholo-Esinle village in Oyo State's Oriire Local Government Area, k!lling Oyedokun.
A family member named Adesewa Oladosu begged Nigerians to be understanding of the family's present emotional suffering in a message posted on Facebook on Tuesday, May 19.
She claims that the loved ones of the dead have been traumatised by the distressing films and photographs that have been circulated repeatedly.
“Hello everyone, please we sincerely appeal to the public and media platforms to kindly reduce or stop sharing the graphic videos and pictures of our beloved uncle,” she wrote.
