Temi Otedola has spoken exclusively to PEOPLE Magazine, and the details she shared about how she and Mr Eazi found out they were expecting are nothing short of magical.
After pulling off three back-to-back weddings in 2025, a court wedding in Monaco, a traditional Nigerian ceremony in Dubai, and a church wedding in the breathtaking mountains of Iceland, the couple decided they needed to disappear for a while.
No phones, no social media, no noise, just the two of them.
They embarked on a two-month digital detox honeymoon across Korea and Japan. And somewhere between those two beautiful countries, life gave them the biggest surprise of all.
"After wrapping up three weddings in 2025, we wanted to end the year with a two-month, digital-detoxed honeymoon travelling across Korea and Japan," Temi shared. "That's when we found out!"
The way they broke the news to their loved ones is equally beautiful. Rather than a simple phone call or text, the couple personally handed ultrasound printouts to family and friends as a surprise.
Temi, who turned 30 in March, even used her birthday celebration in Mallorca as another opportunity to share the news in person with her closest friends.
"It's been the greatest news to share," she said. "With our family and friends living across every continent, we shared with as many of them as we could in real life, giving them our ultrasound printouts as a surprise."
The baby's gender is still being kept tightly under wraps, but that has not stopped the couple from diving headfirst into the fun part of choosing a name. Temi revealed that she and Mr Eazi have been sending each other name ideas back and forth on WhatsApp, and in true Nigerian fashion, they have also looped in their parents for suggestions.
"My husband and I send each other names all the time on WhatsApp," she laughed. "We've also asked our parents to give us name ideas, as is Nigerian tradition."
The Pregnancy Has Not Always Been Easy
Temi was refreshingly honest about the journey so far.
