Simi, a popular Nigerian artist, has been chastised on social media for her remark about a flight attendant giving her daughter a 'fake awww.'
Simi had went to Twitter to express her displeasure with an air host who had showered fake affection on her baby girl during an encounter.
“This air host guy really did one fake aww for Deja. Is it by force to say aw for baby. I did not greet you. She did not greet you. Why you fake aww my baby. God save you that I’m working on myself. Ko ko aw buruku danu,” she wrote.
This was met with various opinions when it came to the definition of a fake awww and how she could tell whether it was genuine.
Check out some of the reactions below.
Victor Savvy Eyibio: I understand her frustration.. The air host said Aww 🥰 in baritone instead of suprano, so that masculine voice pissed her off…. Deja ko, Eja Aro ni
Eva Nkechi Okpala: U Ar having low esteem on behalf of ur daughter…..seems u don’t find ur own baby attractive that is why u think she is attracting negative energy. Better stop it now befor that girl grows with it.
Oluchi Omeje: How did you know he faked it? Are you trying to say your daughter can’t really awe anyone? You always sound bitter
Peggy Kris: She don get content now. I think I should start this content thing ooo, me that my children are real drama and a handful.
