Lanre Gentry, Mercy Aigbe's estranged husband, has finally shown off his new lover as they prepare to marry in a few weeks.
In a video that went viral on social media, Lanre Gentry and his new partner were seen in a car, smiling and gushing over themselves.
The lady whose name is yet to be identified is heard calling Lanre Gentry her property.
Lanre Gentry and Mercy Aigbe's marriage ended a few years ago due to suspected domestic abuse, and they've been fighting every year on Father's Day since then.
Mercy had accused her former husband, Lanre Gentry, of being a deadbeat father, which he had refuted.
In an interview with punch, Lanre Gentry stated he has no problem with Mercy Aigbe, and revealed what transpired between them regarding the war of words on social media.
“I don't have an issue with Mercy, and I'm not fighting with her,” he stated. She's the one who's fighting; I'm entitled to a nice Father's Day whenever it's observed. I liked Woli Agba's funny skit and reposted it on my page, wishing myself a Happy Father's Day.
Lanre Gentry also revealed that apart from having a kid together, they both have no relationship. He does, however, provide for their son, despite the actress' portrays him as a "deadbeat father."
Lanre Gentry revealed that he is already divorced and plans to marry his new girlfriend in September.
“I do not have a relationship with Mercy, and by God's grace, I will re-marry in September this year,” he stated. I'm engaged as you can see, I have no problems with her. Mercy and I had already ended our relationship. She took me to five separate courts in order to get a divorce, and she got it. I'm not going to talk to her any more.
