Nigerians have taken to Twitter to voice their disgust with the current administration after President Buhari met APC officials for dinner hours after the Owo church massacre.
Remember that on Sunday morning, June 5, unknown gunmen attacked the St Francis Catholic church in Owo and opened fire on the worshippers, killing over 50 people, including children.
President Buhari welcomed APC leaders for a meal at the statehouse in Abuja just hours after the incident, as the party prepares for his convention on June 6th and 8th.
Some Nigerians on Twitter argued that hosting a meal when citizens were murdered inside a church was callous, while others said that the meeting must have been planned ahead of time and so could not be canceled. Some others believe the dinner should have been cancelled.
