As the trial of Baba Ijesha continues, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, popular comedienne Adekola Adekanya, known as Princess, and other supporters were spotted in court today.
The actor is charged with six counts of sexual assault, including penetration, indecent treatment of a child, and sexual assault.
Indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, and attempted sexual assault by penetration are among the others.
Princess claims she met Baba Ijesha at an event in 2008 and the two agreed to start collaborating on comedy skits
Baba Ijesha wooed her during their working relationship, according to princess, but she declined his proposal.
After then, Princess stated she became close to the actor, especially after her marriage ended in 2013.
The comedian claimed she invested in Baba Ijesha's education, and the actor later paid her a visit at her house.
Baba Ijesha is being represented by Babatunde Ogala SAN, among others, while the prosecutor, the Lagos State Government, was represented by Olayinka Adeyemi.
