"Well, we didn't observe anything odd and couldn't find anything." The police officers appeared.
"Where did you keep Lara's ashes, Tony?" Deji made fun of him.
"We'll take you with us till our investigations are finished," one of the SSS officers remarked.
"However, officer..." Ifiora objected.

As they shackled Tony's wrists, tears streamed down his cheeks. Deji's lips curved into a smile as she cast looks at Funke. When the doorbell rang, they were about to lead him out.
"Please accept my apologies, oga!"
Tony's gateman, Adamu, walked in excitedly.
"Do you see what I mean?" Deji looked at him with contempt.
"Hello..." Lara cooed as she stepped in with her baby in her arms. Jide and his dad came in after her.
Nobody could speak or move because everyone was staring at her in disbelief.
"Lara?" Tony's mouth trembled.
"You, Lara!" Deji let out a horrified scream.
"Yes, me!" Lara said as she handed her baby to Amara, who was crying.
"What the hell is going on here?" "Why is everything in a tangle?" She took a peek around.
"What does that shackle mean?" she inquired again, gesturing towards Tony.
"Baby, I'm back home!" "I'm alive and well." As she took off the handcuff, she kissed him.
"You're insane!" "How did that happen?" Deji couldn't believe what she was seeing.
"Not how it came, but how it went," Lara shifted her face to her.
"Officer, are you here to detain my husband?" No! You are mistaken. Allow me to reveal the identity of my kidnapper." Lara gave a police officer a friendly smile.
Deji had already started walking toward the exit...
"Hold her!" L ara yelled as Deji flung open the door.
Deji bolted from the room, and the cops shot her in the leg.
"Haaaa! "Please don't kill me oo" Deji cried and clutched her injured leg.
Lara declared, "She was my kidnapper."
"It's not my fault, o!" I was compensated o!" Deji continued to scream.
"It's funke, funke, funke!" "It's your mum," says the Deji.
"Do you mean my mother?" Lara's mouth dropped open.
She searched the area for her mother.
"Mummy?"
As everyone stared at Funke, she shivered.
Ifiora cried, "Wonderful!"
"Did you say fantastic?" This is simply incredible." As they shoved Funke and Deji into a van, a cop remarked.
"Please don't take my mum." Lara objected.
"I'm sorry, madam, but your mother isn't exempt from the law." Before they drove away, the police officer warned her, "See you in court."
"But she's my mother!" Lara screamed angrily.
"She can't hurt me!" Lara cried
Tony comforted her while she cried. His Lara was alive and well, and he had a child.
He took the infant from his mother and kissed and held her.
"Thank you," he said quietly to Lara.
He hugged her and cried floods of delight as he said, "Thank you for making Baby Ngozi a reality."
