Angel shared her feelings with Queen on the show.
Angel opened up about her past experiences and how it influenced her decision to audition the reality show.
To get away from her "toxic" family, the 21-year-old said she was always on the move, travelling from one spot to the next.
Her family, she claimed, gave the material things but not the ones that really mattered.
"I was basically always on the move," she told Queen. That was a problem. "I couldn't explain to people that this was the situation at home, that I'm leaving my toxic family." "I'm coming here because I want to... it's not that I'm going to abandon them once I'm out of here, but there's a line I want to draw." Because they have put me through so much, despite the fact that I am just 21 years old. And, yes, they gave money, but I'm wise enough to see that money is the least of a child's problems. I mean, it's vital, but you have to put in a lot more effort emotionally and mentally. They didn't provide me those 2 things.
"Monetary, OK, fair enough. They were kind enough to feed me. I was clothed. I went to the best schools and ate the best meals, but not so much in terms of the most important things.
"That's why I'm always trying to get away from them." I mean, when I get out of here, I'm going to make sure my family is taken care of."
She continued by saying that she feels her mother thought she was doing her best.
"She tried in the way she felt she was supposed to... she thought she was trying her best, and I appreciate her for that," she added.
Her mum, she said, was the one who persuaded her to participate in Big Brother Naija.
"Yes, sure," she continued, "I still talk to them [her family]." It's like the gap that I want to maintain since I've recognized that my relationship with them is better when we're only a few miles apart.
"All I want is stability and to get away from all the terrible stuff I've been through on my own."
"I went through rape, sexual assault, and physical violence on my own...
"As a result, when my boyfriend died, I had nowhere to go." I was always on the move."
