Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad’s father, Mr Joseph Aloba has persisted in defending Naira Marley, his late son's former employer, against allegations that he was the cause of Mohbad's dea'th.
In the midst of the battle for the late singer’s justice, Mr. Joseph Aloba is heard giving arguments as to why his son’s former boss shouldn’t be a suspect in a leaked audio discussion.
Naira Marley and his late son had disagreements, but Mr. Joseph insisted that Naira had no malicious intent.
He said that the only reasons the Marlian group assaulted Mohbad on the few occasions they did so were to show off their dominance and make him listen as he was being uncooperative.
“Naira only showed his seniority. His ears were blocked and didn’t listen. Naira gave me his number about a year ago but I have not been able to reach him. Naira is not a bad person or the type that’d kill him, he only showed him who’s the boss,” he started.
