The police in Ogun have arrested an 18-year-old teenager for reportedly killing Azeezat Akande, a 28-year-old lady who demanded N10,000 following a sex encounter.
According to the command's spokesperson, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the accused was detained after members of the Ilupeju village in Abeokuta reportedly found a lifeless body of a young lady beside her was a knife in pool of blood when they awoke on Sunday, July 18.
Following an information that the accused was seen at a bar in the neighborhood at 11:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, where he was attempting to grab another sex worker, police officers immediately moved in and apprehended him.
The accused admitted to the act, claiming that he committed this because the lady wanted N10,000, which was agreed upon, but he failed to provide her since he only had N8,000 on him.
