JMK, one of the newest Big Brother Naija housemates, has disclosed that she turned down a call to the bar ceremony in order to appear on the reality show.
On Sunday, show presenter Ebuka welcomed JMK, Michael, Kayvee, and Queen into the house, evicting Beatrice, Yerins, and Niyi.
JMK, who studied law told fellow housemate Angel on Sunday night that she had just passed her bar exam but that the call to the bar ceremony and her arrival into the big brother house coincided.
She claims to have chosen the reality show over her call to the bar because the opportunities that come with BBnaija are enormous.
”I didn't make it to my call to the bar. It was either that or BBNaija. My result was satisfactory, so I can make the call to the bar at a later time.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me,” she says.
“It was a difficult decision for me to make. “I was losing my sh*t in between because I was worried about what my parents would say if I spent six years and didn't make my call to the bar,” she explained.
