According to Rev Chris Okotie, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, also known as TB Joshua, the late founder of The Synagogue, Church of all Nations was a magician who carried the Bible around.
Okotie, who never concealed his dislike for Joshua even while he was alive, referred to him as the "Wizard at Endor", shortly after his death in june.
Okotie identified Joshua as a man who projected himself as another "Jesus" in a video posted on social media on Sunday, August 8 titled "The Truth about T.B Joshua." Joshua, he claimed, was a phony prophet who went around holding a bible.
“Greetings in the Lord Jesus' name. What is the real story behind TB Joshua? Who was he, exactly? Was he a product or Christianity? Or are you a shamanic practitioner? Was he one of the Lord Jesus' servants? Or some ? Was he a genuine prophet who was misunderstood? Or a hypocrite posing as a devouted follower of the Faith?” Okotie was the first.
His message was based on John 8:32 in the Bible: “...Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free,” Okotie began to examine of T.B Joshua's life.
“Joshua chose that name because he believes he is a reincarnation of Jesus. He believes that God brought him to our earth in the same way that the Lord Jesus was sent, to bring reconciliation between God and man, and that is why he chose the name Joshua.” he stated.
T.B Joshua, according to Okotie, fulfilled the pattern of Bar-Jesus, a false prophet, and a sorcerer as described in the Book of Acts, Chapter 13 v 6: “He is a magician, a sorcerer, and claims to be a prophet. He doesn't refer to himself as an apostle, a teacher, or a pastor since he doesn't fit the pattern if he refers to himself as anything other than a prophet. As a result, he'll have to continue with that appellation. He must name himself prophet so, so and so... So, he is a magician who claims to be a prophet but is a false prophet...,” Okotie continued.
T.B Joshua was buried on July 10.
