Man Burns His Wife To De’ath Just After Posting Her Pictures On Pornhub

Denise Keane-Simmons, 36, was found on her bedroom floor at Alric Avenue with extensive burns and smoke inhalation, and was confirmed dead in hospital.

The woman had received threatening texts from her estranged husband, claiming he had uploaded photographs of her on PornHub, and police arrived 40 minutes before he carried out the 'planned' killing.

She also said she discovered a camera placed in a lightbulb in her bedroom.

Mrs Keane-Simmons, who worked as a teaching assistant, told police officers on the night of her death, "I feel uncomfortable about leaving my house because his behavior is so unpredictable and simply want to enjoy my life without that worry of Damion."

Simmons, however, set fire to the residence less than an hour after the cops had departed.

The couple met in Trinidad and married in February 2019, after which Simmons moved to the United Kingdom to live with his bride.

However, their relationship strained as he demanded that Mrs Keane-Simmons modify her ways and stop visiting friends.

The man uploaded an intimate photo of her on Instagram hours before the murder, along with her maiden name, job, and the school where she worked.

‘I wish you suffer and die just like I suffer and die before I leave,' he stated in a WhatsApp voice message to his ex-wife. I truly wish you pain and death.'

Simmons was caught on camera buying five and a half litres of gas from a local gas station the night before she died.

Further CCTV footage showed him pouring gasoline through the victim's letterbox and smashing a window to gain entry, with the fire starting 30 seconds later.

On September 1, Simmons was found guilty of murder and arson with the intent to endanger life at the Old Bailey.

The defendant denied murder, stating that he did not want to injure Mrs Keane-Simmons and that she died by accident while he was attempting to commit suicide in front of her.

He then admitted to conducting a number of internet searches, including the Crown Prosecution Service's instruction on murder defenses in law and the "greatest technique to use a knife and kill someone," but said he had no intention of carrying out the searches.

Despite the fact that jurors were told at the start of the trial that he had acknowledged manslaughter, he said all of these things.

He had already pleaded guilty to causing distress by revealing intimate and explicit images.

Following the verdict, Detective Chief Inspector Neil John stated that the defendant's actions "epitomize serious domestic violence."

‘My sympathies are with Denise's family and friends, and I hope that today's outcome brings them some relief in knowing that her killer has been apprehended.

‘Denise was clearly adored by all, and her death has had a profound impact on a large number of individuals.

‘Damion Simmons' conduct that night were deliberate, and the jury came to the conclusion that he set out that night to kill Denise, not himself, as he claimed.

‘His acts were both egotistical and rash. Denise's future was cruelly taken away from her, and he could have easily caused great harm to the other women on the property and in neighboring houses.'
