TB Joshua proposed to Evelyn in less than 45 minutes after their first meeting, according to Evelyn. She was around twenty-two years old at the time.
Evelyn stated that she was visiting her sister in Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos, and that everyone around her seemed to be talking about a prophet, and that everyone had something positive to say about him.
In her mind, she wanted to see the prophet everyone was talking about in a positive light, and she also needed spiritual guidance at the time.
So she and her sister went to see the prophet at his home, but she didn't see him on the first day. She went to meet him again a few months later, this time at his home.
However, when the prophet first saw her, he stared at her for a long time before writing the word "Ejide" (twin) on a piece of paper.
TB Joshua told her a lot about herself, and after a 45-minute talk, he proposed to her. Evelyn found the proposal weird, but she claims that her heart agreed with it when he made it.
Then, after their interaction, TB Joshua confessed to her that he had a vision about her a few days prior. They married after a few months of romance, and their marriage has been beautiful ever then.
